In the mid 80`s he founded, along with his brother Alvaro, one of the most recognized Rock bands in Venezuela, Zapato 3, for which he was lead vocalist. By 1989, Zapato 3 was on its way of becoming a national musical success. Its style had gone from punk to social-oriented to a much cleaner rock with some sexual lyrics. By then their first album "Amor, Furia y Languidez", was finally edited which would include tunes that would become some of the most characteristics of the band.They recorded 5 LPs until they split in 2001. Carlos Segura holds a Bachelor in Political Science, Major in Political Studies, is a Musician, is a Producer, Final Cut and Smoke Operator, Copywriter & Creative. Since 2004 he is has played for Solares. Lives and work in Miami, Fl.
